3. Data collection when visiting the website (server log files)

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes data such as server log files on our behalf in connection with providing the website. We have a data processing agreement with IONOS in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

5. Delivery of homepage videos via a Content Delivery Network

The videos on our homepage are not delivered directly from our server, but via the Content Delivery Network of [Company Name]. bunny.net (BunnyWay doo, Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia), accessible at edenshealth.b-cdn.net. Your IP address will be transmitted to bunny.net because it is technically necessary to deliver the file to you. We use this service to ensure the homepage loads quickly, even with large video files. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and stable delivery). We have a data processing agreement with bunny.net; the company is located in the EU.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are delivered from our own server. no No connection is established to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

7. Cookies and storage in your browser

This website stores small amounts of data in your browser. We distinguish between two groups.

a) Technically necessary, without consent

This data storage is necessary for functions that you have accessed yourself to work. Consent is not required for this according to § 25 para. 2 TDDDG.

• Cookie notice: Your selection in the cookie notice will be stored in a cookie (wpconsent_preferences) so that we don't ask you again on every visit. It is valid for 365 days.
• Language selection: When you switch languages, a cookie remembers your choice.
• Shop features: When you place items, the shop software sets cookies that associate your current session and the content of your selection.
• Wishlist, shopping cart and reading progress: This information is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage). It is not transmitted to us and disappears when you clear your browser data.

8. Cookie notice and consent management

We use the WordPress plugin WPConsent for the cookie notice and to manage your consent. It runs entirely on our own server, does not transfer any data to third parties, and stores your selection only in the cookie mentioned in section 7a in your browser. No log of your consent is kept on our server. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (obligations to provide evidence and obtain consent) in conjunction with Section 25 of the German Telemedia Act (TDDG).

9. Audience measurement with Koko Analytics

To see which content is being read, we use Koko Analytics. The analysis runs entirely on our own server; no data is shared with third parties and no user profiles are created. Only aggregated figures are stored: how often a page was accessed and from which website visitors came. IP addresses are not stored. To distinguish between recurring visits on the same day, a cookie is set (_koko_analytics_pages_viewed, valid until midnight) that does not contain any identifier that would allow you to be personally identified. The tracking script is only loaded after you have given your consent in the cookie notice. The legal basis for this is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG).

10. Multilingualism

We use the plugin for translations of this website. TranslatePress. The translations are stored in our own database; no data is transferred to third parties when you access a translated page. Only your language selection is stored in a cookie (see section 7a).

11. Search and plant advisor

Our website offers a search function with suggestions and an advisor to whom you can describe what you're looking for in your own words. Your input is sent to our own server and compared with our content. It then... no We use a third-party service, not an external AI service. We do not permanently store or analyze your entries in a personally identifiable way; they only appear temporarily in the server log files (point 3). The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a usable search function).

Please do not enter any information about your health in the search and advisor sections that can be traced back to you as a person. A keyword is sufficient for searching for content.

12. The Path (Nutrition Planner)

Der Ernährungsplaner „Der Pfad“ fragt Angaben ab, die zu deiner Gesundheit gehören können, etwa Alter, Geschlecht, Größe, Gewicht, dein Ziel und besondere Lebenslagen. Diese Angaben werden in deinem Browser verarbeitet. Die Berechnung findet auf deinem Gerät statt. Einzelne Angaben können in der lokalen Speicherung deines Browsers abgelegt werden, damit du beim nächsten Besuch nicht von vorn anfangen musst; sie verlassen dein Gerät nicht und lassen sich über die Browsereinstellungen löschen.

Plan per E-Mail. Nur wenn du dir deinen Plan schicken lässt, übertragen wir den fertig berechneten Plan und deine E-Mail-Adresse einmalig an unseren Server, der ihn als E-Mail an dich versendet. Der Plan kann gesundheitsbezogene Angaben enthalten (Art. 9 DSGVO). Rechtsgrundlage ist deine ausdrückliche Einwilligung, die du mit dem Klick auf „Plan schicken“ gibst (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a und Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. a DSGVO). Den Inhalt des Plans speichern wir nicht, er existiert danach nur noch in deinem Postfach. Gespeichert werden deine E-Mail-Adresse, der Zeitpunkt der Anfrage und die Quelle (Ernährungsplaner), damit wir Missbrauch erkennen und dir auf Rückfragen antworten können. Zum Schutz vor Missbrauch zählen wir außerdem für höchstens 24 Stunden, wie oft ein Plan angefordert wurde; deine IP-Adresse wird dafür nur verschlüsselt (gehasht) und höchstens eine Stunde vorgehalten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Die E-Mail wird über den Mailserver unseres Hosters versendet (siehe Hosting). Du kannst die Löschung deiner Adresse jederzeit unter den unten genannten Kontaktdaten verlangen; ohne Newsletter-Anmeldung löschen wir sie spätestens nach zwölf Monaten.

13. Wishlist and shopping cart

When you add products to your wish list or shopping cart, this selection is stored locally in your browser (see section 7a). Wir nutzen dafür das Double-Opt-In-Verfahren: Du bekommst zuerst eine E-Mail mit einem Bestätigungslink, und erst nach deinem Klick tragen wir dich ein. Gespeichert werden deine E-Mail-Adresse, der Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung und der Bestätigung, damit wir deine Einwilligung nachweisen können. Rechtsgrundlage ist deine Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Du kannst sie jederzeit widerrufen, mit einer kurzen Nachricht an uns oder über den Abmeldelink in jeder Newsletter-Mail; danach löschen wir deine Adresse aus der Liste. Ohne Bestätigung löschen wir die Anfrage spätestens nach 30 Tagen. Eine Kommentarfunktion gibt es auf dieser Website nicht.
